Thus says the Lord, "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the lord and who trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it? First Day - New Job

Well today Simon began his life as Mr. Palfery at his new job working at a small DoD company. The day was full of the typical inprocessing and Monday staff meeting. Nothing too different from life in the AF, but yet somehow it still felt weird. Simon and Felisa also spent part of the day getting Simon set up as an Air Force dependent. Simon now has 4 military IDs (Dependent, contractor, reserve, and temporary active ID), so losing his military ID shouldn't be a problem.

Felisa was able to get her MRI, a referral, and the demographic from the flight doc all to the Barrows Institute today in Phoenix, AZ where she will most likely do her cyber knife treatments. So hopefully they should review her case tomorrow or Wednesday upon which we should have some more news. Felisa's arm continues to bother her, so please pray for her as she deals with the pain. Thanks again for all those that are praying. We are truly blessed to have such great friends and family.
