Scripture Feeding

Thus says the Lord, "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the lord and who trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it? I the lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds.

DC and beyond..

Here we are again - another blog update on the adventures of the Palfery's. We recently returned from a trip back east with Simon to Washington D.C. and were able to catch up with some dear friends of ours - the Carl family as well as spend some good family time touring the city.

We enjoyed a visit to the National Museum of Natural History as well as the National zoo. The weather was crazy cold and so getting out in the first part of our visit was a bit challenging so Molly and I enjoyed the time with our friends and we became one with the hotel pool during the week!

You'll also see a few pictures of the National Christmas tree by the White House and a few of the White House. It was neat to be able to see the capital area at night and during the holiday season.

We hope that your holiday is going well and that you are enjoying the many blessings the Lord has provided.

Be blessed,

The Palfery's
