Scripture Feeding

Thus says the Lord, "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the lord and who trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it? I the lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds.

Zoe's first few weeks...

I know...I know...it's been a few days since we've updated the blog. So -we have this little blessing called a newborn & time/sleep are a bit more of a priority - ha!!!

As you can imagine, we've had a few rounds of visitors so that everyone can meet the new addition - Zoe Lee. Zoe is thriving and eating and sleeping like a true champ - thank you God!

Simon's mom (Nana) was here helping out and holding down the fort for the first few weeks and then we had a week by ourselves (yikes!) and then a 2 week visit from Felisa's mom (Mimi & her husband Neal).

It's been busy but good and we have appreciated all of the help that our friends and family have provided.

More than anything, we are so thankful for everyone's prayers because they have truly sustained us over the past several days.

We look forward to introducing Zoe to you!

Enjoy the latest....
