Thus says the Lord, "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the lord and who trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it? I the lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds.

"Its a Good Day"

The Palfery's are almost back to life as normal, that's right. Felisa was able to put on a pull-over shirt this morning, and declared "Its a Good Day!" The last several days for Felisa have been great. She's made the switch over to Ibuprofen for her pain medication, which has made the swelling in her back go down(along with the pain) and also made her less groggy. Dinner cooked by friends (and the leftovers) have kept her well nourished. Thank you everyone! Her pain level is down to a four out of ten this morning. Its been at about a 5 or 6 over the last week, so the Lord continues to heal Felisa's body wonderfully. She still has some remaining numbness in her left hand. Felisa will begin physical therapy after Thanksgiving to get that fixed.

Simon is headed to work again this morning, but Felisa has another friend (Anne Loose) coming over today and tomorrow to be with her. Felisa's mom is coming in on Wednesday for Thanksgiving, and then another friend (Amanda Osborne) the week after, so the Palfery's are well covered.
