Thus says the Lord, "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the lord and who trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it? Felisa is in Active Labor!!

Well Molly is on her way.  Felisa started having contractions yesterday around 8:30 PM.   Around 2:30 AM her contractions were up to 2 minutes long and about 3:30 apart.  So we called the hospital and they said to come in.  When we got there the checked Felisa and baby out.  Felisa was only 2 cm dilated, and Molly was doing fine.  So out of the hospital we went to find some place to rest (rather than drive the 35min back to our house where it was still snowing).  We got a hotel room at about 6 AM in Albuquerque and have spent most of the day in the bath tub.  Felisa's contractions are at about 2:45 to 3 minutes now and Denise (our doula) checked her out and Felisa is now 4 cm dilated.  So we are going to hold out a little longer just to make sure.  Felisa and Denise went on a walk to get a milk shake as Felisa is struggling to keep solids down.  I'm resting, updating blog, and calling the folks.  Next post will probably be post birth.  Pray us and specifically for Felisa's strength as she hasn't got but 2 hours intermittent sleep for the last 28+ hours.
