No...we are not dead!

So here I am again..another 4 months later - argh! Oh well...you all get it... So, we've had a great summer and we are gearing up for fall - it's finally into the high 70's,low 80's now - yeah! Since our last post, we have been on our bikes a ton and Molly is working on becoming a buddy cyclist herself :) She started riding a "pedal bike" awhile back and she's a hoot to watch. Zoe is trying to push a trike and trying to keep up with her sister. Simon did a 24-hr MTB race in the Zuni National Forest back in June and we camped there as a family - had a blast over Father's Day Wknd... The girls had swim lessons for most of June and Molly stole the show at a wedding in June as well. Zoe has been under surveillance by the FBI for being a domestic terrorist but we continue to vouch for her...:) Zoe is fun, boisterous, loud and stubborn - love her :) She keeps us going for sure! Simon also took a great trip to Moab to MTB for 4 days with some buddies - check out the pics! We have been riding a lot locally and in August we took a "mommy & daddy only" trip to Copper Mtn, CO for the Copper Triangle ride. We needed time away and we had an awesome time! We road from Copper Mtn over Fremont Pass,Tennessee Pass & Vail Pass back into Copper....the weather was great & we rode on the tandem without the trailer for the first time in a LONG time :) It's amazing how easy it is to climb when you are not pulling 75 extra pounds! We've recently completed an awesome home project - we paved our driveway - yes...I know. The Palfery's have hit the big time now. Our road was paved earlier in the summer and we figured it'd be a good time to do it & we are so thankful that we did. We can ride our bikes now without feeling like seeing the chiropractor afterwards - ha! We're heading to Alabama to visit Gillian (Simon's mom) at the end of the month so that'll be fun...it's been over 2 years since we've been there.
